Senior Supply Chain Planner

Your Role at Gregory

The Senior Supply Chain Planner is responsible for supply planning, procurement, and inventory management for Asia as well as inbound/outbound coordination. It is essential that you understand the outdoor equipment category and seasonality, end-to-end procurement and product life cycle to meet working capital, inventory availability and sales goals. You will work closely with the sales teams across Asia to keep timely and accurate forecast processes in place. Together with Product Line Management and Development you will develop seasonal procurement plans and coordinate inventory, factory capacities, lead times and MOQs. In cooperation with GM Asia and Director of Supply Chain and Planning, you lead purchasing and PO placement for Gregory Asia products. You handle inbound and outbound administration to and from factory warehouses and coordinate shipping details and documents with customers around Asia and maintain the needed systems tools. Where needed, you collaborate with Product Development to track vendor performance and KPIs.

We’re Excited If You Have

You probably have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or equivalent and 5-8 years of experience in a similar role with knowledge in purchasing utilizing an ERP platform. You’re an Excel whiz and have deep understanding of forecasting, supply chain and capacity planning. You have confidence in using and learning new ERP system functions, maybe experience in SAP, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You communicate comfortably in verbal and written English and maybe one Asian language as well.

Product Line Manager

Your Role at Gregory

The Product Line Manager leads the product line planning and product brief creation for Asia products, primarily Outdoor Lifestyle. Using your deep understanding of the Asian outdoor markets as well as trends across different countries and customer groups, you create and propose unique product strategies, develops seasonal product lines and communicate continuously with design and development. You actively search for and gather data to support qualitative research and rigorously follow up competitor product launches. In close collaboration with the countries across Asia, you ensure that regional and local needs are balanced, and that price and cost goals are met. Together with Product Development and Marketing you ensure that product samples are available in a timely manner and that product information is accurate and compelling.

We’re Excited If You Have

You probably have a Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Marketing or similar and 5-8 years of hands-on experience in product line planning and product marketing. You have strong knowledge of the design and development process of outdoor lifestyle products, preferably with backpacks and bags. Being an outdoor enthusiast, you have a keen understanding of outdoor technical and lifestyle gear and a strong understanding of what technologies and aesthetics resonate with the end consumer. You have a strong interest in the similarities and differences between markets across Asia and are confident in communicating in both verbal and written English.

Marketing Manager

Your Role at Gregory

Being the expert on regional and local trends across Asia, and an outdoor enthusiast, you are responsible for the full seasonal marketing plan and assets for Asia-developed products for the region. This includes localization of global marketing calendars and assets, and creation of go-to-market plans specific to Asia products. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, creating and distributing the seasonal marketing assets to internal and external customers and coordinate and follow-up on all local brand marketing initiatives in printed and digital media. In close cooperation with Design and Development, you will plan and execute seasonal sales meetings, including presentations and workbook.

You probably have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and 5-8 years’ experience in a similar regional role. You have a passion for outdoor activities and strong interest in following fashion trends across various demographics and countries in Asia. Being on the forefront of printed and digital media platforms you know who and where our potential fans are and how to reach and engage with them. You speak, read and write excellent English and preferably also Japanese or Chinese or both.

Logistics Administrator

Your Role at Gregory

Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Planner, the Logistics Administrator responsibilities include supporting all supply chain procedures, from creating and administrating Purchase Orders to factories, to coordinating shipments and inbound/outbound to and from warehouses in Asia. The position further handles cross-function customer service to our markets across Asia in cooperation with sales.

Leading the product design for various categories, you digest complex problems and design objectives to create clever, differentiated and relevant design solutions for outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts. You clearly and powerfully communicate design solutions, staying highly in tune with target consumer preferences and trends across Asia. Partnering with product development, product line management and marketing, you ensure high quality, efficient and cost-effective product manufacturability and ensure that the final product solutions stay true to Gregory’s design principles.

We’re Excited If You Have

You probably have a Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent and 5-8 years of experience in a similar role with knowledge of materials and constructions of outdoor backpacks and bags. Your presentation skills are great, verbal and written, to effectively promote, sell, and defend creative concepts and you thrive in a collaborative and dynamic team environment. You are used to creating detailed technical specifications in CAD programs, e.g. Illustrator, Solidworks. Your English skills, written and verbal are excellent and preferably you also know quite a bit of Japanese.
